Abstract

This study approach the promotion of a universal accesses to a cultural public patrimony, without commit its conservation. The empiric object is a Historical Gardens in Casa Forte Square, projected by Burle Marx. Were identified the Square’s characteristics, their environmental problems and their physical barriers that harm its access. By this way, intends accessibility options in the conservation context. The aim is add up wherefore this public space may be used for all and, at the same moment, their landscaped compositions continue for future generations, making possible the urban sustainability of this space.
